She voted NO on this amendment DESPITE the indian lobby contributing to her campaign. Also its likely that she might become our next president.
Obviously, Sen.Obama does not care much for Indians!

I checked 2007 return and it has only 100K asset. I am not sure we accumulated 350K since then. I think you got confused with revenue vs. cash on hand / asset.
raised 461K in 2007 and spent 400K on lobbying? Sounds like lot of money....
but looking at revenues does'nt look bad situation either...... raising 461K in one year?....

Not trying to be pessimitic her but any new hires will need to be trained, and infrastructure need to be set up. All these things do not happen overnight.
Also, there are dependancies. I-485 information needs to be entered in the system and A # on I-140 need to be crosschecked. If one is not available already then it needs to be generated.

You are not pessimistic. I know how federal contracting happens. If I am the federal contractor to USCIS and I have a contract with them. Lets say contract 's scope of work to process 485, 140, 765, 131 apps. USCIS can always add money to existing contract and ask for more man hours for the contract year. Most of the time Federal Installations have extra space to accomodate new temp resources.
So in 2-3 months they can add more resources to take care of this shit. But I can say for sure that dont expect EAD or AP in 3 months.

If "you" meant me then FYI, I have contributed before and will be contributing again. I am no sencond thoughts on what IV core memebers are trying to achive and why they need money. I completely understand the need.
What am I saying is IV has done everything for Lame Duck session to try and get the bill passed. More money then would not have helped is what I think. Yes we could do better from the lessons we learnt from that day. We definetly need money for all this purpose. Most of the members here understand that and want to contribute too but you cannot expect everyone to be in a position to contribute due to various factors.
But you should not say that you are spending a lot of money on lawyers but members pay lawyers as there is no alternative. You would not be a part of IV if your GC is not filed and affected by retrogression. To get to being retrogressed you should pay the lawyers as without labor and i-140 you are not there yet.
Senator sessions was the key due to the lame duck session rules but going forward as i understand a majority can pass the bill..not ever one need to vote for the bill.
Money would help core do activities like setting up the web site, faxes, going to DC, educating law makers...nothing comes free in this world.

But there are some issues with that. We can always call them up for details if that is what is holding you from contributing. Its only a phone call away.

My priority date has been current for a year now, but are they processing it? No, because my receipt date is 08/28/2006 and they are only doing 08/07/2006 now (after going back one month in Texas).
Thats right....and currently they have at most 400 for each category to give from July 2nd...and might have already used them for adjudicating old PD's. So, only couple of hundred first comers on July 2nd may benefit if processed based on RD and after that...its a big messy backlog center. They will processed based on PD ONLY.

I am sure they have more than 106 cases before the cutoff of 1 April 2003. This may also include people delayed by background checks.

My company applied for PERM ALC EB-2 category at Atlanta on 18th June 2007, got it approved on 20th June. Received hard copy on 26th June.

You must be a permanent resident to open or own an S-Corp. An LLC is the best way to go and if you are not engaged in actual sale of goods, you can register this LLC in Nevada and pay no corporate taxes. I've done it. All income then passes through your own filing. Have a CPA and I strongly recommend you do this. Registering a NV LLC only costs $195 annually. Go to incorpservices.com and it will walk you through.
